WHAT IS WOODWOOL?

WoodWool WoodWool is the perfect combination of wool and lyocell (wood fibers). This blend offers excellent breathability: in a WoodWool shirt, you'll immediately feel the wide comfort temperature range, where you'll never be too cold or too hot.

Wool: natural moisture and temperature regulation  

Wool prevents evaporative cooling.It warms even when damp, neutralizes odors, and creates a pleasantly balanced microclimate. This means your body needs less energy to regulate its temperature.  

Lyocell: skin-friendly and durable

The wood fibers (lyocell fiber) not only give the product a skin-friendly feel. soft feel, rather increase also his Durability and durability.

MAINTENANCE

Washing

• Wash your wool shirt at 30 °C (86 °F) in the wool cycle of the washing machine – and only with wool detergent without protease.
• Wash your wool products not together with garments that have zippers, Velcro or hooks It is best to use a Laundry bagto protect the fibers.
• Fill the washing machine only half and choose a low spin speed.
• Do not tumble dry or wring out – this will prevent the wool from felting.
• For stains (e.g. deodorant residue or cream): Carefully knead the stain with diluted wool detergent, then wash as normal. Do not rub!

Drying Solutions

• Take off the damp wool shirt after washing. carefully shaped in length and width.
• Leave it lying flat on a clothes drying rack to air dry. – not hanging, not on the heater and not in direct sunlight.

Storage

• Wool is a natural material – and therefore susceptible to Clothes moths. Store rarely worn items best cleaned in tightly sealed garment bags.
• Scented sachets (e.g. with lavender or cedarwood) also help to keep moths away.
• Fly screens on windows and doors prevent moths from entering the house.

TIPS/NOTES

• Wet wool is sensitiveFor example, don't wear wet wool shirts directly under your backpack – otherwise, friction can cause holes.
• Airing instead of washing: Wool doesn't need to be washed often. Airing the wool product thoroughly is usually sufficient—because wool is naturally odor-inhibiting and dirt-repellent.
• Pilling is normalOur WoodWool products form fewer small pills than pure merino wool. However, pilling can still occur in high-wear areas (e.g., backpack straps or waistbands) – this is simply a characteristic of natural fibers.
