WHAT IS ALPINE WOOL?
What makes this blanket special is its innovative lavalan® Alpine Wool insulation. The insulation consists of a lightweight wool fleece from sheep from the Alpine region: robust, natural, biodegradable, and renewable.
In a wool blanket, you'll immediately feel the wide temperature comfort zone, where you're neither too cold nor too warm. Furthermore, the insulation is naturally resistant to very high levels of humidity, creating a natural, dry, and balanced sleeping environment.

MAINTENANCE
Washing
- Wash your AlmWolle® product by hand or at 30 °C (86 °F) on the wool cycle of the washing machine – and only with wool detergent without protease.
- Please turn inside out, zip up, run an additional rinse cycle and do not use fabric softener.
- Fill the washing machine only half and choose a low spin speed (max. 600 revolutions).
- For stains (e.g. deodorant residue or cream): Carefully knead the stain with diluted wool detergent, then wash the area by hand and let it dry (su). Do not rub!
Drying Solutions
- Leave the product to air dry lying flat on a clothes drying rack. – not hanging, not on the heater and not in direct sunlight.
TIPS/NOTES
- Woolen items should be dried from time to time or after every trip to remove excess moisture.
- Ventilate instead of washing: Wool is naturally odor-resistant and dirt-repellent.
- When the blanket is first unpacked, it will take some time to fluff up. If you iron the blanket loosely with a steam iron on the silk setting before first use, the wool will fluff up faster and the blanket will also be able to regulate its temperature better.
