Compression stuff sack, robust stuff sack for a smaller packed size of sleeping bag

The Grüezi bag® compression pack sack is designed for anyone who wants to store their sleeping bag in a space-saving way during transport, whether camping, trekking, bikepacking, traveling or anywhere where space is limited in the backpack, van or luggage.

The special feature lies in the sturdy compression straps : The sleeping bag is carefully stuffed into the stuff sack, foot end first, and then compressed using the straps that run all the way around. This significantly reduces the packed size and makes the sleeping bag more compact for transport.

The correct packing technique is crucial: The sleeping bag should not be rolled or folded, but loosely stuffed into the compression stuff sack. Rolling or folding can cause creases in the material and negatively affect the insulation. Stuffing distributes the filling more evenly and prevents it from being constantly compressed in the same areas.

The compression stuff sack is particularly suitable for tours where every liter of packing volume counts. Whether in a backpack, pannier, trunk, or van: the sleeping bag remains compactly packed and is easier to stow in your luggage.

The compression pack sack is available in two sizes: M for summer and 3-season sleeping bags and L for winter sleeping bags.

Pack smaller, store more easily

A compression stuff sack is the practical solution if you want your sleeping bag to take up as little space as possible when traveling. First, the air is squeezed out of the sleeping bag, then the compression straps are tightened. This transforms a bulky sleeping bag into a more compact package.

Why you'll love the compression stuff sack

  • Smaller pack size: The sturdy compression straps help to reduce the volume of the sleeping bag for transport.
  • More order in your luggage: The sleeping bag remains compactly packed and is easier to store in a backpack, van or car trunk.
  • Robust material: The material, made of 100% polyamide, is designed for frequent packing and travel.
  • Four compression points: The all-around straps ensure even compression.
  • Zwei Grossen: Size M for summer and 3-season sleeping bags, size L for winter sleeping bags.
  • Easy handling: Stuff the sleeping bag, squeeze out the air, tighten the straps, and you're done.
  • Ideal as a replacement pack sack: Useful if the original pack sack needs to be replaced or an additional compression sack needs to be used.

TIPS/NOTES

Wrap up

  • Always carefully stuff the sleeping bag into the compression stuff sack with the foot end first. Do not roll or fold the sleeping bag.
  • First, squeeze the air out of the sleeping bag and stuff sack.
  • Then tighten the compression straps evenly, shift weight onto the pack sack so that it is compressed even better and the straps can be shortened more easily.
  • Do not tighten the straps unnecessarily to avoid overloading the material and seams.
