The Grüezi bag® Wool Mat Camping is designed for anyone who wants to sleep more comfortably outdoors and is looking for a lighter, more space-saving sleeping mat. Its mummy shape saves weight and pack size, while still offering comfortable sleeping space and fitting well in tents, roof tents, vans, and camping setups.
The unique feature lies in its two-layer construction: two separate air layers can be adjusted independently. The lower layer is slightly firmer for a stable base, while the upper layer is pleasantly soft for sinking in. This allows the shoulders and hips to sink in more comfortably , while the lower layer maintains a distance from the floor . At the same time, the body lies more securely in the mat and is less likely to slip sideways during the night.
The V-chamber construction and raised side chambers provide additional support for a stable sleeping position . The elastic textile cover adapts comfortably to the body and is virtually rustle-free – for greater peace and comfort while sleeping.
The two-layer construction also offers an additional safety margin when traveling : Both air layers have their own valves and are separate from each other. Should one layer lose air, the second remains usable.
For insulation, the Wool Mat Camping combines firmly integrated layers of wool fleece made from 85% virgin wool and 15% PLA with air chambers. With a height of 8 cm and an R-value of 3,4, it offers a comfortable and well-insulated sleeping mat for camping, bushcraft, tents, rooftop tents, and vans.
