Replacement heating element for Grüezi bag® DownWool hybrid mummy sleeping bags
This carbon heating element is designed as a spare part for all compatible Grüezi bag® DownWool hybrid mummy sleeping bags. It connects to a standard power bank via a USB port and provides pleasantly cozy warmth in the foot area—ideal for cold nights or when you're sensitive to the cold.
The heating output is limited to approximately 40°C to prevent sweating and the resulting moisture. The washable heating element is integrated into the footrest, efficiently distributing heat from the bottom up, and its distance from the body ensures a quiet, comfortable sleeping environment.

Warning & Safety Instructions
- Keep the product out of reach of small children as it contains small parts that may be swallowed.
- This product should not be used by people who cannot determine whether the temperature is too hot or too cold. Young children are more sensitive to heat and cold. Certain illnesses, e.g. diabetes, can cause impaired temperature sensitivity. People with disabilities or frail individuals may not be able to communicate if they are too hot or too cold. Therefore, the product is not suitable for children under three years of age, frail individuals, or individuals insensitive to heat. Do not use heating products while taking medication and/or painkillers, as temperature perception will be impaired. If in doubt, or if you have cardiovascular problems, consult your doctor before using the product.
- To charge the batteries, use only the original charger supplied with the product or recommended chargers. It is designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to moisture.
- Do not insert any metal or other objects into the power jacks or plugs, as this may damage the product. If you notice any damage to the power cord or other parts, do not use the product. Do not modify the product in any way or use it for purposes other than those intended.
- If you experience an unpleasant sensation, such as tingling, this may be a sign that the heat setting is too high. It should be immediately reduced, turned off, or the heating product should be disconnected from the battery pack.
- When not being worn or in use, products must never be stored on top of each other, next to each other or covered while switched on, in order to avoid heat build-up.
- The battery must always be unplugged when transporting it in bags, backpacks or similar to prevent it from being switched on accidentally and thus causing heat to build up.
- When the product is not in use, the battery packs must be separated from the heating product.
- Alpenheat products are partially compatible with each other but not with products from other manufacturers, so never use heating products or battery packs from other manufacturers.
- Damaged batteries must not be used and should be disposed of immediately. -> See PRODUCT DISPOSAL.
- Never throw batteries into fire. There is a risk of explosion.
- Avoid contact of the battery packs with metal objects (rings, screws, etc.). There is a risk of short circuits.
- The batteries must not be stored near flammable materials.
- If a battery leaks, do not rub the fluid into your eyes or mucous membranes. If you come into contact with the fluid, wash your hands and rinse your eyes with clean water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
