Growing children's sleeping bag with perfect sleeping climate thanks to AlmWolle insulation
The "Wolle Kids World Traveller" It's the ideal companion for overnight stays on alpine pastures, while camping, in a motorhome, or staying with friends. Thanks to wool insulation, the children's sleeping bag can be used from spring to autumn, even in environments with high humidity. And the sleeping bag grows with the child, so a new model isn't necessary every year.
Grüezi bag® sleeping bags offer the best sleeping comfort and functionality
Grüezi bag sleeping bags have received numerous awards for their excellent insulation and well-thought-out designs.
- Dry and balanced sleeping environment even at very high humidity: Conventional sleeping bags only insulate when dry. Alpine wool, on the other hand, dries quickly, efficiently wicks away moisture, and provides warmth even when damp. This makes it ideal for use in cold, wet weather or high humidity.
- Larger temperature range: Alpine wool sleeping bags have a wider temperature range where you feel comfortable. Wool balances temperature fluctuations like a light, natural air conditioner.
-
Best sleep quality: The natural climate-balancing insulation contributes to falling asleep faster, sleeping more deeply and overall longer, more restful sleep.
-
Comfortable cut – more freedom of movement, less cold
For restful sleep, the body needs freedom of movement. The ergonomic cut of DownWool® sleeping bags offers just that: space for sleeping positions such as side sleeping or turning, even in a mummy position. The slightly more generous fit prevents cold spots because the filling is not compressed – for consistently pleasant warmth and maximum sleeping comfort. - Lightweight and small pack size: Ultra-light, robust and recycled outer fabrics save weight.
- OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified: Every part of the Grüezi bag® products has been tested for harmful substances and is therefore harmless to human health.
-
Alpine wool from Bavaria: It is made in Bavaria from the wool of sheep from the Alps.

WHAT IS ALPINE WOOL?
What makes this sleeping bag special is its innovative lavalan® Alpine Wool insulation. The insulation consists of a lightweight wool fleece from sheep from the Alpine region: robust, natural, biodegradable, and renewable.
Wool acts like a lightweight, natural air conditioner. In a wool sleeping bag, you'll immediately feel the wide temperature comfort zone, where you're neither too cold nor too warm. Furthermore, the insulation is naturally resistant to very high levels of humidity, creating a natural, dry, and balanced sleeping environment.
- Effective temperature and humidity regulation:Wool balances temperature fluctuations like a light, natural air conditioner. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and releases it back to the outside in a controlled manner. This natural regulation creates a warming or cooling effect without the cooling effect of evaporation.
- Insulates even in very high humidity: Wool wicks away sweat and retains its warming properties even when damp, something no other material can match. This means it provides excellent insulation even in very high humidity, offering high thermal performance in cold, wet weather.
- Dries very quickly: Wool insulation dries very quickly and can therefore be used directly on rivers, on boats, in the tropics even at over 100% humidity
- Neutralizes unpleasant odors: Wool has an antibacterial effect and thus naturally counteracts unpleasant odors.
-
sleep quality: Longer sleep, falling asleep faster and sleeping through the night is possible thanks to the wool content in the insulation filling.
- More sleep, more energy:The body needs a lot of energy to regulate its temperature. Wool supports this process thanks to its excellent temperature-regulating properties.
The result: Excellent insulation and a wide temperature range for comfortable sleep. Furthermore, an Alpine wool sleeping bag is very resistant to moisture, making Grüezi bag® wool sleeping bags a popular all-rounder in very humid areas.

MAINTENANCE
- The Washing instructions are in the inside pocket of the sleeping bag.
- The sleeping bag can be washed with a wool detergent (without protease) at a maximum of 30°C/86°F by hand or in the washing machine on the wool cycle. Please turn inside out, zip up, run an additional rinse cycle, and do not use fabric softener.
Drying Solutions
On sunny days, you can place the sleeping bag on a clothes rack to allow air to reach the sleeping bag from above and below. Please allow plenty of time for the sleeping bag to dry out.
Tip:
- When unpacked for the first time, the sleeping bag needs some time to fluff up. If you iron the sleeping bag loosely with a steam iron on the silk setting before first use, the wool will expand more quickly and the sleeping bag will then be able to regulate its temperature better.
- All sleeping bags should be dried from time to time or after each trip to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in a storage bag. A discarded pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
- When packing the sleeping bag into the compression bag, it must be stuffed with the foot end first, not rolled or folded.
- Airing a sleeping bag is better than washing it. Wool sleeping bags rarely need to be washed, as wool itself has natural odor-inhibiting and dirt-repellent properties. For minor external soiling, we recommend gently cleaning only the stain itself (see above). Greasy and extensively soiled sleeping bags can be machine washed.
- A sleeping pad should be placed under every sleeping bag, as the insulation is compressed towards the bottom of the sleeping bag and therefore cannot retain air and therefore heat. You can find more information about the right sleeping pad here. Here.
