Until now, there were only two alternatives for sleeping bag fillings:
Down or synthetic fiber. While down provides excellent insulation and creates a pleasant climate, it gets damp very easily and then loses its insulating properties. Synthetic fiber, on the other hand, absorbs less moisture, but it doesn't create as pleasant a climate and doesn't insulate as well as natural down. Now there's a filling that combines the advantages of down and synthetic fiber: Alpine wool provides excellent insulation even when damp, ensuring an excellent, dry climate in your sleeping bag!
