Grüezi Bag, a relatively new German brand, delivers the most innovative sleeping bag of the year. The Biopod Hybrid Wool/Down (€350, 1200 g) is filled with three materials: soft synthetic fibers on the body provide a cozy sleeping experience, followed by a layer of wool. This absorbs moisture excellently and guarantees a warm, dry climate even in higher temperatures. The cold-sensitive foot and torso areas also feature down insulation.
What's special about this jacket: For the first time, down is processed as a fleece instead of being packed in chambers. This prevents the filling from shifting and dries faster. The lower temperature limit determined in the laboratory and in practical tests is minus three degrees.
