Professionals to the rescue when dealing with defective sleeping bags and jackets

When Grüezi bag products are damaged, the combined expertise of specialists is required. Our partner for professional repairs can fix almost anything that can be salvaged, from a torn outer layer and a broken zipper to lost filling. 

The workshop also offers refilling or re-filling of DownWool® sleeping bags. This allows you to consciously extend the lifespan of your sleeping bag.

Occasional down escapes are normal and not a quality defect. Our DownWool® products are made from high-quality, intentionally uncoated fabrics to ensure breathability. Therefore, down may escape more easily than with coated fabrics. This phenomenon occurs only rarely and to a very small extent, and does not lead to any significant loss of filling or warmth.

  • For hygiene reasons, we can only accept and process sleeping bags that have been freshly cleaned.

  • The sleeping bag can be refilled, but only if the existing down is in good condition. If the down in the sleeping bag has clumped together due to prolonged damp storage, we won't be able to restore it to optimal condition.
