Children's sleeping bags explained on the Biopod DownWool Kids Teen
Our children's sleeping bags are designed for children's rapid growth and grow with them. When the footwell zipper is closed, the sleeping bag is suitable for children up to approximately 1 meter tall. As the child grows, the zipper can be opened to extend the sleeping bag. This makes it suitable for children up to approximately 160-170 cm tall, provided the child is slim. For a broader build, an adult sleeping bag is required for children over approximately 150-160 cm tall.
Our sleeping bags are made of skin-friendly fabrics that are comfortable for children. They are also highly breathable to prevent overheating, and the insulation regulates temperature. The sleeping bags are also washable.
There are three different types of children's sleeping bags:
- Kids World Traveller: 3 season sleeping bag
- Kids Grow Colorful: Summer sleeping bag
- DownWool KidsTeen: Can be used down to 0°C
In extremely cold temperatures, the child should be in the sleeping bag in addition to an adult.
Like our adult sleeping bags, our children's sleeping bags also feature foot ventilation.
Important: Our hoods are equipped with a tunnel, but without a drawstring to avoid the risk of strangulation. Since our children's sleeping bags are suitable for children ages 4 and up, a drawstring must not be inserted. However, it is possible to add a drawstring at any time.
