Legal requirements
Our online shop complies with the requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV), insofar as our offer falls within their scope of application.
Digital services should be findable, accessible and usable for people with disabilities in the generally accepted manner, without particular difficulty and basically without outside help.
In designing and further developing our online shop, we adhere to the four fundamental principles of digital accessibility:
- Perceivability: Information and controls should be presented in such a way that they can be perceived by as many people as possible.
- usability: Navigation, buttons, forms and other functions should be operable using different input methods.
- Understandability: Content, labels, inputs and processes should be designed to be comprehensible and understandable.
- Robustness: The website should be usable with common browsers and supporting technologies as reliably as possible.
Implementation of accessibility requirements
The following measures are taken into account in the technical and editorial design of our online shop:
- a comprehensible page and heading structure
- Clear and understandable labels for links and buttons
- a navigation system that is as uniform as possible
- sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds
- the ability to enlarge texts and content
- Alternative text for images relevant to the content
- labeled input fields and forms
- Clear instructions for incorrect or missing entries
- The greatest possible usability via the keyboard
- noticeable highlighting of selected controls
- a responsive display on different screen sizes
- the avoidance of unnecessarily complicated or time-limited operating procedures
- A display that is as compatible as possible with screen readers and other assistive technologies
Information for identification, authentication, security, payment and order completion should be designed to be perceptible, usable, understandable and robust.
Status of accessibility
We are continuously working to review and improve the accessibility of our online shop.
Due to the ongoing technical development of the online shop, older content, and the integration of functions from external service providers, it is possible that some content or functions may not yet be fully accessible.
As soon as we become aware of any barriers, we examine how these can be overcome within the scope of technical and economic possibilities.
