Temperature range

The first value – Tcomf – is the temperature at which it's just below freezing. This means Tcomf is the lowest value of the comfort range, where it can already get chilly.

The second value – Tlim – is the value at which you can start to feel cold, i.e. start to shiver.

The third value – Text – is a theoretical value at which there is already a risk of health damage due to hypothermia. You don't need to consider this value when purchasing a sleeping bag.

WASHING DOWNWOOL® SLEEPING BAGS

How to wash DownWool sleeping bags and down sleeping bags properly

- Maximum 30°C by hand or on the wool wash cycle
- Turn inside out and wash with down detergent
- Program additional rinsing process
- Spin at a maximum of 600 revolutions
- Drying in the dryer with 2 - 3 tennis balls

Worth knowing: The additional rinse cycle ensures that all detergent residue is rinsed out of the delicate down. When you remove the sleeping bag from the washing machine, fluff it up a bit and then give it another spin cycle at a maximum of 600 rpm. Do not use fabric softener!

If you 2 to 3 clean tennis balls together with the DownWool® sleeping bag in the dryer for optimal care results. The drying temperature should be max. 60°C and dry in approximately 5 intervals of 1 hour each; the process may need to be repeated the next day or continued until the sleeping bag is dry.

Important: Remove the sleeping bag from the machine after each drying cycle, shake it well and let it cool down for a short time.

If your sleeping bag isn't dried and fluffed up properly (like a tennis ball), the down will clump and will be very difficult to detach. Therefore, never hang the item on a clothesline to dry!

Depending on the waterproofness of the outer material, the drying process can take varying amounts of time (up to 2 days). If the item still hasn't returned to its original thickness, the drying process must be repeated. Odors can develop as long as the item remains damp.

STORAGE

Please store the sleeping bag in the included storage bag in a dry place. Never leave the sleeping bag in the compression bag for extended periods, as this may damage the insulation.
