Ultralight tent from Rejka

Tents by Rejka

Your partner for exceptional trekking tents

We'd like to briefly explain Rejka's DNA, as we define light and ultralight a little differently than other manufacturers. Ever since we began producing tents in the mid-1990s, our goal has been to build robust, durable, and comfortable tents that are affordable for even average earners. This hasn't changed to this day! We believe, with good reason, that there are many advantages to camping beyond just weight:

Greater safety through robust materials! More comfort through useful features! Sustainability through longevity!

And combined with our own repair shop, which repairs anything that can be repaired, or with the option to purchase inner and outer tents separately, our tents are more sustainable than ever: Because for us, nothing is more sustainable than tents that last a long time and don't have to be disposed of after just a few years due to material fatigue, as is the case with many products made with super-lightweight fabrics!

In short: We want you to feel comfortable in your Rejka tent and assure you that your new outdoor home will be a reliable companion for many years to come, one that won't let you down on your travels!

"The Two from Bavaria" Rejka and Grüezi bag

In this section, we'd like to introduce an old friend who has also been active in the outdoor sector for a long time with his company: Reiner von Rejka
When I opened my own outdoor shop, Sport Go West, in Kolbermoor in 1996, I paid attention to the highest quality, just as I do today. It's always been important to me to sell something good. As we say in Bavaria, "it's too expensive to buy cheap."
It's better to have a good product that lasts a long time than something three times cheaper. This attitude is also necessary for the environment.

Here, the Bavarian tent manufacturer Rejka immediately caught my eye. Their tents were sturdy, had a great design, and were made of the highest quality materials.

In the early days, Reiner personally came by on his motorcycle to present the collection. You just have to like someone like that.

Even now, many years later, my own tent still holds up perfectly and Rejka's tents are still as good as they ever were.

Although the materials have changed over the years, the tent constructions have remained largely the same, as dome and tunnel tents have proven themselves to be excellent for their respective purposes on tour.

Over time, Reiner has also adapted to the market with his tents, so that here too
Weight now plays a major role. However, he has always remained true to his maxim that Rejka tents stand for reliability, comfort, and durability. And the durability of the tents, which was true 25 years ago, still holds true today, so that Rejka tents stand for sustainability, especially in this day and age. Because every Rejka tent that doesn't need to be produced due to its long service life, conserves resources and is therefore better.
than any environmentally optimized process that nevertheless pollutes the environmental cycle.

Even the two ultralight models, the Antao II light UL and Antao II light XLUL, are weight-optimized but still functional enough for extended trekking tours. It's important to note that the fabrics used in these two models are not as tear-resistant as those used in the "regular" Light series, so you should choose your tours with more care.

Rejka’s range currently includes 11 models, with tunnel tents predominating, as Reiner
He himself favors tunnel-shaped tents, as he uses them on his tours in Scandinavia and thus tests them himself. Tunnel tents have the decisive advantage over dome tents of the large vestibule, where you can easily cook and store all your utensils in bad weather.

The newly developed Hamra light and Hamra light HC dome tents (named after a national park near Sveg in Sweden) with internal poles are freestanding, but feature two large entrances on the inner and outer tents. Thanks to the steep walls in the inner tent, they offer ample room and headroom even for taller people. Four vents on both Hamra tent models ensure a comfortable climate and relatively low condensation.

We are very happy that we have become business friends and that we are able to present the Rejka tents on the Grüezi Bag website. So, if you are also looking for a new trekking tent, Rejka is the specialist for trekking tents.
