The heated hip pack is truly versatile: for warming up and relaxing in the evening on the couch, on the balcony (e.g., while having breakfast), at a cold desk, or even on a bus, train, or plane. It's also the ideal addition to any sleeping bag, as it can increase insulation by up to 8°C.
The Feater is especially popular with women and men with cold feet: It has an additional heating function in the foot area and pleasantly warms the feet.
- Outer fabric: made from recycled, breathable and extra soft microfiber
- High-quality ARL insulation from Grüezi bag®: It's lightweight, moisture-resistant, and provides pleasant warmth. Its high loft traps heat-insulating air, and the three-dimensional structure of the filling also allows moisture to be transported to the outside.

Integrated carbon heating element: an additional heat source as a backup in case of emergency such as illness or a sudden drop in temperature.
- The heating element can be operated with a standard power bank (USB port is located in the outer pocket) and is washable at 30 °C.
- Heating time: The heating element reaches a maximum temperature of 40°C to ensure an optimal comfort climate. The temperature is limited to 40°C to prevent feet from starting to sweat and cooling down.
- Info: The operating time of a power bank with 5.000 mAh is approx. 1,8 hours / with 10.000 mAh approx. 3,6 hours.
- Inside and outside pocket: For valuables and things you'd rather keep close. The outer pocket houses the USB port for your power bank.
- Drawstring with stopper: To adjust the sleeping bag under the shoulders and prevent heat from escaping at the top.

WHAT IS ARL?
The high-quality, stable, and lightweight, three-dimensionally welded microfiber filling from Grüezi bag® provides high loft, which is crucial for retaining air and thus ensuring pleasant warmth. The three-dimensional structure of the filling also promotes moisture transport to the outside, creating a pleasant climate. This filling is characterized by its robustness, durability, and moisture resistance.
WHAT IS A CARBON HEATING ELEMENT?
A sleeping bag merely stores the heat a person gives off. However, often a person is no longer able to warm themselves or the sleeping bag sufficiently, whether due to exhaustion or illness. The foot area, in particular, is difficult to warm with cold feet. For this reason, this sleeping bag features a heating element (Grüezi bag® Carbon Heating Element), which can be powered by a standard power bank.
- Within about 15 minutes the sleeping bag becomes cozy and warm.
- The carbon heating element is designed to limit the heat output to approximately 40 °C (104 °F) to prevent sweating and the resulting moisture that could lead to further cold.
- The heating element is integrated into the footrest so that the heat is distributed evenly from bottom to top and there is sufficient distance from the body to ensure a restful sleep.
- The heating element is washable and can be washed with the sleeping bag.

- OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification for all materials used (except the heating element). This label for textiles tested for harmful substances guarantees that the product is harmless to health.
- PFC-free: No perfluorinated chemicals are used.
- Recycled materials: GRS-certified recycled polyester as outer and inner material
MAINTENANCE
- The Washing instructions are in the inside pocket of the Feater
- Your item can be hand-washed with a mild liquid detergent at a maximum of 30°C/86°F or in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. Do not use fabric softener and only spin gently at the end (max. 600 rpm).
- We recommend that you run an additional rinse cycle after washing to rinse out all detergent residue.
Drying Solutions
- On sunny days, the feater can be placed on a clothes rack to allow air to reach the top and bottom of the feater. Please allow the feater to dry thoroughly.
Tip:
- When the "Feater" is unpacked for the first time, it needs some time to become fluffy.
- All sleeping bags should be dried from time to time or after each trip to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in a storage bag. A discarded pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
- Airing a sleeping bag is better than washing it. For minor external soiling, we recommend gently cleaning the stain itself (see above). Greasy sleeping bags and sleeping bags with extensive soiling can be machine washed.
