Synpod Island tested in the Alpin

Grüezi bag sleeping bag

Mentioned in the article:

"The Nova II from Mountain Equipment, in particular, but also the Grüezi Bag Synpod Island and Jack Wolfskin Airflake, are noticeably wide – and therefore comfortable – cut."

Extra picture of the open foot section with caption: "The main zipper on the Grüezi Bag runs along the top. You can easily stretch your feet out."

"Test impression: The Grüezi Bag, like all Grüezi Bag sleeping bags, is a bit different. The zipper runs differently (on the top), which turns out to be quite practical in use because it's easy to operate. However, if you want to stick your feet out at the bottom (as described by the manufacturer), you have to open the zipper quite wide to avoid feeling cramped. The sleeping bag is completely PFC-free. When sleeping, you notice that the Grüezi Bag has a quite good sleeping climate and you sweat very little. The insulation is good for the weight!

Conclusion: A slightly different sleeping bag with good materials, which you'll notice when you sleep. The very light and fluffy insulation material is good, and the Synpod Island's insulation is good for its weight. The features are basic.

+ good materials, good sleeping environment

- RV course takes some getting used to

In the weight comparison of the sleeping bags in the test, the Synpod Island performs very well.
