I finally get around to writing to you personally again.

I think you've been following our TaChicks story; I saw that you already shared a photo on Facebook...

If you read the blog, you could clearly hear our absolute enthusiasm for sleeping bags!!? 

I'm not (as I admitted at the beginning) a huge sleeping bag fan, I prefer a huge blanket around me – but I really didn't want to leave the Grüezi Bag again… I had already taken it with me before the rally to test it out while camping with the kids, and no matter whether in the Allgäu region, the vast steppe, the Tajik plateau, or on the Romanian beer tables at our checkpoint party: every night was perfect! Never cold, never sweaty, always cozy!

I'm enclosing our four best sleeping bag photos. I'm heartbroken (!!!) that we didn't get a good one at our high plateau camp!!!! But it was sooooo cold!!! By the time we set up camp, it was almost dark. We were shivering in the storm and crawled into "bed" (our Sepp) super quickly... And in the morning, we were so busy scraping ice, making tea, and worrying about getting our car towed (our starter motor was already broken, and we were always depending on another team) that we completely forgot to take photos... Very, very annoying, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it now.
